Sr.Manager/ Manager

The Sr.Manager/ Manager has a foundational knowledge of the consumer generated media industry and sufficient knowledge of a specific industry vertical, either as Sr.Executive/Executive or in another position in the industry. The Sr.Manager/Manager has excelled as an entry-level Sr.executive / executive and demonstrated management skill and attention to detail in their assigned client projects. The Sr.Manager/Manager will work independently and produce work that is client ready.  MBOs for the Sr.Manager/Manager will be tied to client satisfaction and working in an efficient and timely manner.  Other objectives and goals will be determined by their RM and the VP. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet internal and external project deadlines to ensure client satisfaction
  • Compile high-quality, client-ready research reports within assigned time
  • Interpret data using proprietary technology to provide insightful and actionable information to clients
  • Own sections of a research report and ensure compatibility with all other analyses
  • Execute research methodologies that will answer objectives as outlined in project details
  • Identify and highlight key findings within a report and draft an executive summary using this information
  • Manage Analyst Is on specific projects to ensure quality of data and analyses
  • Participate in client calls for project kick-off, document review and final presentation of findings
  • Working knowledge of cross-Nielsen assets and the ability to identify opportunities for incorporation
  • Perform other work as required to meet business needs

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum three years experience in marketing, market research or research
  • Demonstrated experience with interpreting data, performing quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Working knowledge of consumer-generated media
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong understanding of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic presentation skills
  • BA/BS required, Master's Degree, a plus

Sr.Executive/Executive

Sr.Executive/Executives are responsible for mastering basic BuzzMetrics products, developing a general knowledge of the landscape for consumer-generated media and building the foundational technical skills of a market research analyst.  MBOs for the Analyst Sr.Executive/Executives will be determined by their RM and the VP. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to high-quality, client ready research reports within assigned time
  • Interpret data using proprietary technology to provide insightful and actionable information to clients
  • Be able to identify new and interesting sites to include in analyses, perform both quantitative and qualitative analyses on data, choose relevant and interesting verbatim, and support all findings
  • Own small sections of the report and be responsible for data quality and analyses
  • Participate in client and team calls and offer insights and information where applicable
  • Meet internal and external project deadlines to ensure client satisfaction
  • Perform other work as required to meet business needs

Experience and skills required:

  • Demonstrated experience with interpreting data, performing quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Working knowledge of consumer-generated media and internet-based research
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong understanding of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic presentation skills
  • BA/BS required
