Adrian Terron

Vice President, Global Communications & Marketing, India Region

Adrian Terron is Vice President for Global Communications and Marketing, India Region for The Nielsen Company. In this role he leads the Company’s strategic communications and marketing initiatives across the region.

He has over a decade of experience spanning print journalism, television journalism, marketing research and corporate communications. His most recent assignment was with the Godrej Group as its Head of Corporate Communication at a group level. In this role he was charged with institutionalizing the corporate communications function, developing its resources and conceptualizing a strategic framework that has contributed significantly to the brand’s reputation and equity since the relaunch of its Masterbrand in 2008.

Prior to this, Adrian was Associate Director for Marketing and Communications, with Nielsen (erstwhile ACNielsen) Europe. During this time he built a regional plan for the implementation of the organization’s corporate communication strategies across the region by building on his experience with previous local and regional level assignments in India, South Asia and Asia Pacific.

Adrian began his career at Nielsen as a researcher with ORG-MARG which later became part of ACNielsen.

Before this, Adrian was a business journalist with CNBC TV-18 and worked on a wide variety of breaking stories, in-depth company reports, feature shows and stories pertaining to the FMCG and Mutual Fund sectors.

Adrian graduated from the HR College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai and is an alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad’s Accelerated General Management Programme.

Adrian is based out of Mumbai, India.
