Justin Sargent is Managing Director for Nielsen Consumer, India.He leads Nielsen’s consumer businesses (Retail Measurement Services, Consumer Research, BASES, Advanced Analytical Consulting) including Client Leadership, Client Service and Product Leadership initiatives.
Justin began his career at Procter & Gamble as a category marketing analyst before joining Nielsen in 1993.Since thenhe has held a number of senior positions at Nielsen across the globe,including the position of RMS Executive Director - Australia, Managing Director – UK & Ireland.
Justin has been successful in all his roles at generating step-change growth by developing and engaging the best talent, building a client first mindset and driving a transparent communications culture. Justin is a sought after expert on topicsthat range from product marketing to retailing and consumer insights at key industry events and has been the recipient of a number of awards.
With a wide variety of experiences across developed and developing markets, Justin’s perspective on how businesses are strategizing to win across the globe is unmatched. His interactions with senior decision makers in corporations across both mature and growing markets has positioned him to better understand how consumers behave, what drives their behavior and how marketers can make the most of it to drive their strategies to win.
Justin graduated from Warwick University, England with a BSc in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics. He is based in Mumbai, India.
