Sathish Kumar is Executive Directior for The Nielsen Company's Infrastructure Services for the India region. In his present role, he is responsible for Infrastructure Service Delivery across South Asia for the company. He also oversees offshore infrastructure operations based out of India. Sathish has been in this role since July 2010.
He has been with Nielsen since 2003. Previously he was responsible for setting up infrastructure operations in the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan, based out of the UAE. As a part of this assignment, Sathish was instrumental in successfully implementing the Enterprise network connectivity across these regions, apart from building production centers in Pakistan and Egypt. He has also successfully driven Handheld and CTI solutions for the consumer research businesses of Nielsen. Sathish also paid a key role in successfully implementing the online consumer panel solution for Nielsen in the UAE.
Sathish has also contributed to the client side of the business, assisting in implementing an online delivery platform for General Motors, a key client of Nielsen. He was also instrumental in implementing an End to End technology solution for a consumer research project for Pepsico, another important client of Nielsen.
Before joining Nielsen, Sathish worked with the Astraco and Matrix Group in the UAE as a Group Infrastructure Manager. In that role, he was part of the team that set up the ERP system for the group.
Sathish holds a Masters Degree in Business Management from Madras University and a Bachelors Degree in Commerce also from the same University. He has also received various industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco and Oracle.
Sathish is based out of Mumbai, India.
