Samipendra Chaudhury is Senior Vice President - Finance, India Region for The Nielsen Company. Samipendra oversees all aspects of financial reporting and controllership for the region. In his role he supports both Consumer and Media businesses and works closely with leadership to drive growth across the region.
Previously, Samipendra spent over eleven years at the General Electric company (GE) where he held a number of finance roles with increasing responsibility. In his last role in GE he was the CFO of GE Healthcare, Korea. Prior to that he was the Finance Director of GE Aviation Services in Singapore & Malaysia. He began his GE Career in 2000 as part of GE ‘s Financial Management Program in India and subsequently joined GE’s Corporate Audit Staff based out of Fairfield, US.
Samipendra is an MBA form SP Jain Institute of Management Studies, India and holds an engineering degree from Jadavpur University, India.
